Me and my mum had Dishoom breakfast in London, and it really is one of my favourite restaurant breakfasts. The menu is accessible and simple, but gives you room to try classics with a twist.
This is a recreation of the Dishoom yoghurt and granola bowl.

I actually might make a Dishoom style granola too.
Here’s the description of theirs: A Dishoom recipe, handmade with toasted oats, seeds, cashews, almonds, pistachios and cinnamon.
Theirs is served with fresh seasonal fruits and dairy vanilla yoghurt with starflower honey.

Recipe

1 cup yoghurt
1 tsp syrup or honey (dishoom use starflower honey)
Vanilla extract, or some fresh vanilla beans from a pod

THE FRUITS
Segmented orange
Chopped apple/ pears
Sliced grapes
Any other berries you have

THE GRANOLA
Use any homemade / store bought oaty granola

Method

  1. Segment your orange, and slice up/ chop the rest of your chosen fruits.

  2. Mix your yoghurt with your honey and vanilla in a bowl until you’re happy with how it tastes.

  3. Add 1 tbsp granola to the bottom of your serving bowl, then top with 2 tbsp your yoghurt mix.

  4. Sprinkle over some of your fruits, then repeat this layer.

  5. Top with some more syrup/ honey, more granola, and serve.

Notes + Variations:

Use whatever fruit you want, and whatever yoghurt you want. Imma be making a granola recipe soon, to go alongside this, so keep your eyes peeled.
